| | Dr. Tony S. Tanaydin Dr. Tony Suat Tanaydin is a leading advocate and teacher of Six Sigma and data-based decision making. Dr. T. conducts mentoring, consulting, and a suite of Lean Six Sigma and Statistics training courses to teach quality professionals how to implement problem solving and quality programs. He is a Master Black Belt with a fifteen-year industrial track record in Lean Six Sigma, Statistics, Quality and Reliability Consulting. Tony has worked as a Master Black Belt for SAS Institute in addition to teaching and writing analytical courses at Hewlett-Packard. He worked as a senior consultant and program manager for business planning, process improvement, customer support, manufacturing and R&D. He has spoken at numerous companies, universities, ASQ and ASA conferences. Currently, he serves on the Malcolm Baldrige Board of Examiners for healthcare industry and Raleigh section program chair of ASQ and is the president of Purdue Alumni Association. Combining state-of-the-art theory and real world experience, Tony has helped organizations grow millions of dollars on their bottom lines. He has coached executives and managers regarding how to apply process improvement and positive Six Sigma methods to achieve business process quality. Tony has provided training/consulting nationally and internationally. He has conducted seminars on the organization as a system, organizational improvement, statistical methodology, measurement and variation, the study and improvement of processes and systems, and management theory and practice from the Six Sigma point of view. As a faculty member at Ankara University, Oregon State University, and Purdue University, Dr. Tanaydin taught computer programming, mathematics, quality control, Six Sigma, and applied statistics courses.
Dr. Tanaydin received a B.S. and M.S. in applied mathematics from Ankara University, a M.S. and a Ph.D. in applied statistics from Purdue University. |
