| | Dr. Matthew Hedayat Dr. Hedayat is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, with proven track record in people management, management of change, conflict resolution, and engineering developing consumer, medical, and commercial products for Fortune-100 companies, such as: Motorola, Philips, Johnson & Johnson, and Hewlett-Packard for the last 25 years. Mat has demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional engineering, operation, marketing, and quality teams worldwide, to properly specify and scope technical requirements, deliverables, schedule, and budget. Dr. Hedayat started his Quality Improvement activities as part of the Motorola 6-Sigma University, and continued with Process Excellence Program in J&J, and Lean Sigma Program of HP. He has managed multi-disciplinary functions teams, and is responsible for several product developments in wireless, handheld, medical device, Servers, and MFP from concept to launch, executing project-based tactical solutions and delivery of bottom line results. He has traveled to more than 30 countries. Dr. Hedayat has broad practical background for effectively leading successful product development, reducing total product cost., leading Kaizen Events, implementing Just-in-Time (JIT), Kanban or value streams, by selecting and managing projects with contract manufacturing facilities (ODM/OEM) around the world, develop Business Cases by presenting Return on Investments (ROI), Return on Assets (ROA), Net Present Value (NPV) analysis. He is also an Adjunct Professor at UCSD; Working with 20 Teams of students every Quarter, developing variety of Industry-Sponsored Projects from Defense to Medical areas. Dr. Hadayat received his graduate degrees from University of Florida, and Florida Atlantic University. He is a member of ASQ and a volunteer in Public School Science Academy. |
